Our Coaching Courses run in 6-week blocks, with feedback
and matchplay practice provided at the end of each block. Following the 5th week's lesson, players will be given
a Player Report from the coach to inform them of their improvement over the previous 5 weeks. It will also inform you
are ready to move up to the next level, or if you need further improvement before progressing.
We run each stage in 3 levels: 3 - 2 - 1. Level 3 is for
the beginners in that age-group and as players improve they will progress up through the levels. For any players
who are progressing quicker than average, we have Development and Performance squads available.
Please see below for information on our Mini Tennis, Junior Tennis and
Adult Tennis courses. For more information and to find out availability on the courses, please contact the Centre
on (01978) 265260 or pop in and speak to a member of staff.

through these stages according to their age: Tots = 2 1/2 - 4 yrs, Red = 4 - 8yrs, Orange = 9yrs, Green

Parent & Tots Lessons (2 1/2 - 4 yrs) Our Parent & Tots lessons are the perfect way to get your little one involved in sport. Led
by one of our fully-qualified coaches, the lessons are 30mins long and the activities are designed to help them
improve basic skills such as hand-eye co-ordination, balance and movement. With you there on court to help them with
each of the games and activities, they'll soon get comfortable with the new surroundings and will have a basic understanding
of those skills, which will help them at the next stage of Mini Red.
Mini Red (4 - 8yrs) Mini Red is the game for 4-8yr olds, played on a court that is approximately 1/4
the size of a regular tennis court with a lower net (80cm), using small tennis rackets (17-21") and sponge or low-bouncing
felt balls.
We currently have coaching courses running every weeknight from 4pm - 7pm.

Orange is the game for 9 year olds, played on a full-size court but with a shorter baseline, narrower side lines and
