Olivia Scarfi
reached the semi - final of the British Tour Event at Sutton. She then travelled to Bath where she teamed up with Sarah
Borwell to reach the final of the womens doubles at the $10,000 futures event, unfortunately losing a tight match against
the No.1 seeds.
Matt James reached the Quarter-final of a Grade 1 event in Thailand.
Sian Bayliss and Jordan McCulloch travelled to a Grade 4 ITF in Sweden where they both
reached the Quarter-final of their singles event. Jordan, partnering El Menshawy, went on to win the boys double title.
Sian Bayliss, partnering Aimee Gibson won the Girls Doubles Title at a Grade 4 event at Malta.
Seeded 2 they won the final, against their Italian opponents, 7-5, 6-1.
February 2008
Olivia Scarfi
won her 2nd doubles title in Nigeria. Partnering D.Lobbinger of Belgium they once again took the title in the $10,000 futures.
Olivia Scarfi and John McGahon both won their Doubles title in Nigeria Futures events. John partnering
Ed Seator picked up in 1st title in the $15,000 event in Benin City and Olivia, alongside D.Lobbinger of
Belgium, won the womens $10,000 also in Benin City.
In the last of 3 ITF events in Bangladesh, Sian
Bayliss & Lisa Whybourn made it through to the doubles final, beating the No. 2 & No 3 seed, finally
losing to the No.1 Seeds 6-0, 7-5. Jordan McCulloch reached the semi-final of the boys doubles.
Matt Smith has won another British Tour event, this time at Bolton. He beat Chris Llewellyn in the final
7-5, 7-6.
Matt James reached yet another semi-final out in Tunisia, this week was a Grade 2 event
where he lost to the eventual winner.
LIsa Whybourn had yet another impressive week in Bangladesh.
This week was at Rajshashi, a Grade 3 ITF, where Lisa Seeded 9 made it through to the final in excellent form, where
she unfortunately lost to J. Noordin No. 2 seed. Lisa was ranked 405 ITF before departing for Bangladesh and with the
the results from the last 2 weeks, this takes her to within the top 200. Jordan McCulloch and Sain
Bayliss unfortunately lost their 2nd round matches during the same tournament, both their opponents went on to
with their respective events.
Maniel Bains had a good run at the British Tour at Sheffield this
week, losing in the Final to Andrew Fitzpatrick.
In the doubles event at the Sutton $25,000 Challenger,
Olivia Scarfi teamed up with Amanda Ellliot, but narrowly lost in the semi-final to the Czech number one
seeds, Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka, 6-3 7-5.
Matt James had a good run at the Grade
3 ITFevent in Tunisia, he narrowly lost to the No.1 seed in 3 sets, in the semi-final.
Lisa Whybourn,
seeded 5, has had an impressive run through to the Final of the Grade 4 ITF Event in Bangladesh, winning the final 6-3,
6-1. This is the 1st of 3 tournaments she will be playing. Lisa, partnering Sian Bayliss,
also made it through to the semi-final of the doubles event.

Ian Flanagan made it through to the final of the $10,000 futures event at Tipton, where they narrowly lost to the No.2 seeds.
January 2008
Matt James won
through to the quarter-finals of a Grade 1 ITF in the Czech Republic, beating the No.3 seed. This takes Matts ITF ranking
to within the top 100.
Jordan McCulloch won the 18 and Under Ariel Grand Prix Master event
this weekend. Jordan beat Oliver Evans in the Final 6-1, 6-2 to complete a successful tournament and acheive his first
Masters win. Also playing the event were Lisa Whybourn and Alan Bevan who both reached the
Semi-Finals.
Olivia Scarfi and Dave Brewer both reached the finals of the Tropicana
British Tour at Billesley, unfortunately neither of them were able to win the event on this occasion. Olivia lost to Amanda
Elliott (No.1 Seed) and Dave lost to Robert Varga.
