Applications are invited for a post as Centre Assistant at the North Wales Regional Tennis Centre in Plas Coch Road,
Wrexham.
The role of the centre assistant is to provide a service to all customers of the Centre in respect of reception duties,
preparing and serving food, serving drinks, ensuring health and safety and security procedures are followed, maintaining tidiness
and cleanliness and making the experience of using the Tennis Centre an enjoyable one for all. A detailed

The successful candidate will have a really positive
attitude to customer service and will be self motivated and a good team player. No specific qualifications
are required, although IT skills are essential and some experience in a customer facing role and of food preparation and cash
handling, would be an advantage.
For the right person, preferably with an interest in tennis or sport
in general there could be opportunities in the future to progress into a supervisory role.
This post is
for up to 35 hours per week. The Centre is open every day and a shift system is operated to cover the hours
from 7 am to 10.30 pm on weekdays and slightly shorter hours at weekends and bank holidays.
The
rate of pay will depend on skills and experience. Holiday 28 days per annum (pro rata)
As
the job includes serving alcoholic drinks in our licensed bar, candidates must be over 18 years of age.
