Wrexham Tennis Centre is an LTA High Performance Centre and currently has a vacancy for a part-time self-employed coach to run the weekend coaching squads and various other sessions throughout the week. 

The work available immediately revolves around the Mini and Junior Tennis programmes, with coaching squads run during normal school term-time and Holiday Activities during school holidays.

Adult group coaching, competitions, delivery at local schools and new activities, including Cardio Tennis, will also be introduced to this post in the near future. 

The successful candidate will hold a recognised tennis coaching qualification and have relevant experience in delivering tennis to all ages.  Should the successful applicant also have a playing ability of sufficient quality, there is also the possibility of work on the Development squads.

Additionally, there is the opportunity to earn money all year round by taking private individual lessons on the Centre’s indoor and outdoor courts. 

The rate of pay is negotiable depending on qualification and experience.  Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and will ideally live within an hour’s driving distance, or consider relocating.
